It's that time. This Sunday, December 16 from 8:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church (Austin, Pkwy., Sugar Land).

Our friend, Mary Font, is coordinating appointment times. You can send her your preferred appointment time via email - marymfont@gmail.com. Please put "blood drive - Joey" in the subject line. She's only had a few responses for this drive and has plenty of spots open. It is fairly important that you get an "appointment" as there are a limited number of chairs and phlebotomists. Please let friends, neighbors, co-workers, etc. know about the drive - so often people want to give but it just isn't always this convenient. Now it is!

You can get answers to many questions but if you don't find the answer to your question they are extremely nice if you call - 713-792-7777 (they can even answer if a certain medication you may be taking precludes you from donating - most do NOT keep you from donating.

Joey's patient number at M.D. Anderson is 728734, and his birth date is 12/14/1990 - they sometimes need that info when you are donating for someone.
