Hey - I sent the emial (see below) out yesterday and had all intentions of adding ya'll to the list but somehow didn't. More often than not I will call my family and tell you rather than send emails but sometimes it gets the word out faster. The list of people that I am sending this to is what is my "Joey support" list - nice size isn't it?and apparently 2 other people have told me they are forwarding to at least 10 other people. The boy is cared for and we have certainly been lifted up in prayer - it is truly amazing, you can really feel it.
I want you all to know that we are doing really well here. Life is sorta normal in that we are coming and going (well Joey is), George is running errands (even though it is stuff like picking up pieces of the tumor from the one hospital and taking them to M.D. Anderson) and I am talking a lot (be it with oncologist and patient advocates, and pathologists, etc.). But see kinda normal!?! We are still smiling and laughing on occasion, George and I went to the club and had our Friday drink/talk time and I am still working out time permitting, and George is fussing at the UT Longhorns on the TV. The tears have lessened substantially and we are moving on to actions steps (ya'll know I love action steps). So pray for all 4 (5 if you would include Minnie) but don't worry or be sad.
Will talk to ya'll more when we know more. |
