Hi all,

Joey has finished the chemo drug part of his first cycle. He had his last infusion for this 21 day cycle today. The fatigue, weakness and an "edginess" has now kinda taken over. He will have this for a while and then as his counts come back up (hopefully early next week) he will feel stronger. Joey also had his first acupuncture treatment today - he looked so peaceful laying up there with 22 needles stuck all over. He slept quiet peacefully through most of it. Said he didn't feel anything as expected. He has another session on Wednesday.

As for golf, he decided to give his body a break and hold off playing in the tournament for this weekend and will save his strength for Star Ranch Nov 10 and 11. Thirty-six holes of golf this weekend wasn't like it normally is (he just barely beat his dad) but he still did okay and he enjoyed being out.

A homebound teacher was assigned to Joey in record time and is supposed to start tomorrow (we will see if his energy is there for it). But at least that is also moving forward.

All has actually gone well with bits of not so good. Continue thoughts and prayers that his strength and energy come back swiftly and that he is a "rapid early responder."

Love to all,
Cindy
